What started as a place for experiments, jokes, and small demos is becoming a professional home for my work—and a project in its own right.
Where it started
I kept coming back to a deceptively simple question: how does software actually get online? Wanting to understand the full journey from writing code to making it publicly available led me to buy a Raspberry Pi and my first domain around two years ago. andihub.com became my place to learn hosting by doing rather than only reading about it.
The playground
For a long time, the domain was a digital playground. It hosted test pages, small things I could show friends, hand-built experiments, and the occasional AI-generated gimmick page. Consistency was not the goal; trying ideas and understanding how everything worked was. Those experiments gradually taught me what I wanted the domain to become.
What it is becoming
I am now turning the domain I have kept all this time into a recognizable personal brand and a professional portfolio worth sharing. It is still self-hosted on the same Raspberry Pi, which also serves as a test device for other projects—including CAN bus experiments. Availability is therefore best effort: if the site briefly disappears, the hardware may simply be out learning something new.
